The Motorola ROKR E8 has been designed for music and has an amazingly unique style. The seamless design incorporates a haptic touchpad with virtual buttons that vibrate when touched. A fast scroll navigation wheel gives excellent control when browsing through music tracks or the phonebook.

A full HTML browser powered by GPRS and EDGE technology opens up a new world of entertainment. Storage is 2GB and can be expanded to 4GB for anyone who wants their whole music collection with them. A camera provides sharp images with 8x digital zoom and a resolution of 2 megapixels.

The Motorola ROKR E8 is highly transportable weighing only 100g and measures 115x53x10.6mm. This is a great handset and it is difficult to decide which is cooler its features or its design.

GPRS

Stands for General Packet Radio System. This basically allows you to browse internet websites using your phone. GPRS is mainly used for text based information - getting football results, checking train timetables, reading the news etc. GPRS is not bad at downloading pictures, however it is slower than 3G.  You can use GPRS to received and send Multimedia messages such as a text with a picture.

It is advisable to choose a 3G handset for decent download speeds of videos and pictures rather than GPRS, however GPRS is pretty good for text based information and pictures with lower definition.
